Privacy and personal data protection

1. Data controller

The controller of personal data is MEDIMPEX d.o.o. Sarajevo, Igmanska 38, 71320 Vogošća, Sarajevo. For privacy questions and requests, contact info@medimpex.ba.

2. Data we process

• Contact form: full name, e-mail, optional phone number, and message content.
• Open application: full name, e-mail, phone number, message, and attached CV.
• Technical data: IP address, request time, user-agent, and server security logs.
• Preferences: language choice and a record of cookie settings.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• We process contact data to respond to enquiries and conduct business communication, based on your request and our legitimate interest in responding.
• We process applicant data to consider an open application. Applications and CVs are retained for 24 months only with the applicant’s explicit consent.
• We process technical data for website security and availability.
• We use the optional language cookie only if you enable it in cookie settings.

4. Recipients and processing

Data is accessible only to authorised employees and contracted hosting and e-mail providers where necessary to provide the service. Contact messages and applications are delivered to the official Medimpex e-mail system. CVs are not stored in the public part of the website.

5. Retention periods

• Contact enquiries: up to 12 months.
• Open applications and CVs: up to 24 months.
• Technical server security logs: up to 30 days.
• Language cookie: up to 12 months; cookie-choice record: 180 days.

6. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction, data portability where applicable, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

• You may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency in Bosnia and Herzegovina (azlp.ba).

7. Language and cookies

The initial BS or EN presentation is selected from the browser language without IP geolocation. The optional language choice is remembered only if you approve it in cookie settings. We use no analytics or marketing cookies.

8. Security and changes

We apply organisational and technical measures appropriate to the type of data and processing risk. We may update this policy when functionality or regulations change. The current version was published on 16 July 2026.
